While it is fine to play it without max gear, the absolut top tier damage comes with having everything maxed. Other classes often need some very important tripods and are kinda fine then. Like DB, needs like 5. For Gunslinger, every single one will push the dmg.Soulfist is a pretty challenging class to play optimally and the two builds require different skillsets to pilot so when I have the resources I'll definitely set-up a robust spirit gearset for fun. They are the most annoying class to deal with. "You don't play games to win, you play games so you can make you're opponents rage quit". Sharpshooter can do that in PvP. Lost Ark memes will be dps pallies and missed spirit bombs most likely, as other folks have already stated here.
